Weird game. Both teams looked sloppy on offense. Could be that both our good defending teams or could be early season rust.
Our starting five is fucking filthy and we weren’t even clicking tonight. Just so much talent and versatility with really no defensive liabilities. Weaknesses yes, but no liabilities in my opinion.

Simmons isn't a good match-up for him. He is good at defending slower wings but he doesn't have the physicality to make up the difference when he's at a size and athleticism disadvantage.

He settles wayyyyy too much. He needs to drive to the basket more. It’s the sixers tho and their defense is really good and when you have a guy like Embiid to protect the paint I understand driving to the rim isn’t exactly the right move a lot of the time. With that said though he throws up way too many dumb shots too early in the shot clock when he should probably pass the ball. I get that the Celtics offense is based a lot around letting the individual players work but jayson Tatum isn’t fucking Kobe Bryant and just because he can hit contested midrange jumpers at decent efficiency doesn’t mean he should be jacking them up and killing the offense.
他得多往篮下冲啊。不过对手是76人，防守确实厉害，有恩比德这种人镇守内线时，确实不好一直往里杀。可是话虽如此，他很多时候都是进攻时间才耗了一点就瞎扔，本来是可以传球的吧。凯尔特人的进攻是基于大量的个别球员发挥，这个我理解，可是塔图姆又不是特么科比，你不能他在对抗下的中投命中率还凑合，就让他一直投，拖垮球队进攻啊。

Sixers couldn't hang onto the ball, Celtics couldn't hit free throws, neither team could hit a three pointer outside of Tatum, travels, charges, fouls, missed layups, Smart ending up on the floor every other possesion.
Ugly all around.

Honestly, game was more interesting than the stat line looks. Some thoughts about it: 76ers God they're big. It's honestly crazy, they're huge. And they use the length really well on defense Simmons looked great. Was taking smart shots and making smart passes. Brought a lot of energy to the team and pushed the ball in transition. Still unsure if Tobi is worth the extension for this team, he really needs to make his open shoots which he struggled with tonight. Seems like they really need their defense to be on for them to get offense started. They would stagnate on the offensive end after giving up buckets. Dear God get someone who can hit an open 3 reliably Celtics I honestly think this matchup is terrible for them. They're smaller with kemba, and the 6ers have great perimeter defenders. With that being said, kemba won't shoot as badly as he did tonight, and their free throws will be better. Hayward looked really good. On both ends too, excited that he's coming back to form a bit. Tatum looked better than his statline, and I liked his aggressiveness especially in the third. Think Stevens needs to look into the schemes that stotts used last year for kanter, because they honestly looked terrible when kanter was on the floor, on both ends too. Overall the game was really sloppy, but it's an opener. But there are interesting implications, just looks like a bad matchup for the Celtics to me if I'm honest.
开拓者球迷：书真的，这场比赛比数据呈现出来的要有意思些。说几点感受：76人真的是长人如林。太夸张了，全是大个子。而且他们在防守的时候很会利用高度，西蒙斯很强，既有合理的出手又有合理传球，为球队注入了很多能量，转换进攻的时候持球到位。至于说哈里斯是否值得那份续约，还不确定，他真的要投进那些空位，今晚这点就做的不好。感觉76人真的要靠防守带动进攻。要是丢了篮板，他们就会在进攻端停滞。老天爷能给凯尔特人找个靠谱的空位三分投手吗？我真觉得这个对位对他们很不利。有了沃克之后，他们更没有场上高度，而且对手还有很强的外线防守人。不过呢，沃克的投篮不会总是这么菜，他们的罚球也会变好的。海沃德真的厉害，攻防两端都是，看着他一点点恢复挺兴奋的。塔图姆的表现比数据反映的更好，我喜欢他的侵略性，尤其是第三节。我觉得史蒂文斯应该看看上赛季斯托茨怎么使用坎特的，因为当坎特在场时，凯尔特人的攻防确实不咋地。整体来说这比赛很松散，不过毕竟是揭幕战嘛。

I think he has defensive upside greater than Covington as he is already ok one on one. Covington is insane off ball but Thybulle has that potential. I think Covington is better rebounder and shooter though.
