I agree, just kinda irks me how Gobert consistently gets all nba consideration but never all star. He's the Harden of their defense, but it just never seems to count for all star voting.

It unironically was. Jazz was always a slow starting team, the fact that they were still above 500. while struggling should've been an indicator of how good they would be once they start meshing.
Truth is, people only payed attention to them so early on in the season because they weren't a sleeper anymore and had expectations. They still have a lot to figure out, but they will be a scary team mid season like always.

Yeah, it can definitely be frustrating to have those rough games early on, but at this point Quin Snyder and the team have kind of proven that they'll always work through the struggles and at least be a respectable team sooner or later

Tough shooting night for the team outside of Shamet. The Clips got great looks and couldn’t convert while the Jazz did. Not much else, but it was awesome seeing Zubac step up. GG, Jazz! Nice W for y’all!

Zubac outplayed Gobert in the 1st quarter (Zubac had like 10 points and 7 offensive rebounds in the 1st quarter while Gobert had 2 points and 1 defensive rebound). After that, Gobert turned it on and was more of a factor from 2nd quarter on. Zubac was a negative in the 2nd quarter but improved in the 2nd half.
I thought he matchup overall was even but I leaned towards Gobert more because of his rim protection.

Ye. The Clips did a good job of getting Gobert out of the paint/off the rim in the 1st quarter. Jazz adjusted and controlled Zubac more from then on.
