Similar but I'd say this team on paper SHOULD be really good if everyone is healthy. That Thunder team had no right to be as a good as they were but Paul and SGA really showed out.

If healthy, CP3 + SGA + Schroeder + Gallo + Adams were not “no right to be good”. Those were all known good to very good players. CP3 was just much healthier than everyone thought.

The very definition of hindsight bias here lmao. Vegas projected OKC as a bottom 3 team in the west.
SGA showed promise but was not expected to have the breakout season he did. CP3 had looked completely washed in the playoffs. Schroeder was an average PG who sometimes played behind Jeff Teague.
I was personally pretty high on them because of CP3 and Gallo, but the rest of the roster was not seen as very good.

Yes he could get another 2nd round exit, maybe WCF if lucky enough. Harden is full of this, he wants a ring and nothing more. No matter what Wood and Wall did, there was a really small chance they could beat the lakers. At least in Brooklyn he has a much bigger chance, not saying that Lakers aren't still the better team.

He’s looked pretty good recently on defense, now that they actually have some consistency in their lineups and system. His recognition still needs work, and he gets backed down by heavyweight bigs, but he’s been a good deterrent at the rim without fouling and he’s switchable.
I’d say he’s about an average defensive C right now, which is much better than I expected.
