Wenger seems to me like a good enough manager that has done surprisingly well considering the resources he has available (most points/￡ spent IIRC). Again and again we see he wants/wanted to sign world class or promising players, but they always were outbid or had better offers from elsewhere. I just can't see the problem with him

I know I'm in the minority, but I hold almost no ill will towards Alexis (stroppy episodes aside). Magnificent player who gave us 3 great seasons, who was disillusioned by the lack of big things happening at Arsenal and got a massive offer to join Man Utd at 29
Atrocious that it got to that point that we had to settle for a player swap, but I'm happy we at least got a good player in return

We got a great player in return. Don't the let the foolish opinions of a stupid portion of the Man United fanbase tell you otherwise. It's all down to the player to play up to his ability, but Mkhitaryan is as good an attacking midfielder as anyone on his good days. I'll miss Alexis, he was capable of the sublime at times, even if his sulky and selfish attitude did sour the last few months, he was always giving 100%. Shame it's ended like this but we swapped a player with a market value of ￡0 in 9 days time to one with easily ￡40-50m this summer.
